Poem

Softly, silently, quietly,  gently
You let it in
You let it in
You let it in
Seven days, seven seas and seven sunsets
Are enough to let in
To let it fill, to let it kill
Silently, violently, patiently waiting
Letting it all come
And let it all go, let it all grow, to see what it’ll bring
Having obsessed over the sun
Having  confessed to your sins
Hush and beware,
Hush and beware,
Hush and beware,
For it has begun
Plant your seed, patiently wait, now contemplate
The outcome of the passion,
Skies are falling, insects crawling, but you will let it in
Chilling wind, rocking chair, temper gone,
But beware
Darling daisies dead, the anger well fed,
Yet all is just and seemingly fair
